Qalam Collegiate Academy offers a dual credit program with Richland College located in Dallas, Texas. Once enrolled in the dual credit program, our students can follow a Science track or a Liberal Arts track according to their interests.

Our 11th and 12th graders have the opportunity to either take Richland College courses at the Qalam Collegiate Academy campus or online. However, courses that require labs like Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, require students to take them at the Richland College campus.

In order to facilitate their college readiness for such coursework, the Dallas College assess students with the TSI (Texas Success Initiative) required assessment instrument and places them based on their assessment and diagnostic results. Students will be assessed on TSI Reading, Writing and Math, unless exempt from TSI test requirements. The requirements are listed here
